Simplifying the Ventricular Vectors

The visualization of the heart’s electrical force is represented by vectors, collectively called a vectorcardiogram. Vectors depict an impulse’s amplitude and direction in three dimensions and allow the clinician to use the scalar ECG findings to detect normal and pathologic conditions. The video below describes a normal vectorcardiogram loop and how it affects the tracings in each ECG lead.
