Symptomatic patients with corresponding ECG abnormalities of sinus node dysfunction are treated with a pacemaker. The goal of the pacemaker is to improve the patient’s quality of life by eliminating the symptoms of sinus node dysfunction. 

Antiarrhythmic drugs are appropriate for treating patients with the bradycardia-tachycardia variant of sinus node dysfunction.

In sinus node dysfunction, symptomatic patients with ECG abnormalities are treated with a pacemaker.
