After completing this section, the Neonatal Resuscitation provider will be able to:

1. Diagnose pneumothorax or pleural effusion:
2. Intervene to treat emergency pneumothorax and pleural effusion.
3. Manage airway obstruction in the newborn.
4. Manage the baby with congenital pulmonary abnormalities that significantly affect resuscitation.
5. Manage the high-risk preterm baby exposed to maternal narcotics or anesthetics.
