After completing this section, the Neonatal Resuscitation provider will be able to:

1. Identify when to use an alternative airway during neonatal resuscitation.
2. Prepare the alternative airway for neonatal resuscitation.
3. Demonstrate the operation of a laryngoscope and insertion of the endotracheal tube.
4. Confirm endotracheal tube placement in the trachea.
5. Suction through the endotracheal tube.
6. Place a laryngeal mask in the newly born.
