After completing this section, the Neonatal Resuscitation provider will be able to:

1. Identify equipment for positive pressure ventilation: self-inflating bag, flow-inflating bag, and T-piece resuscitator.
2. Determine when to perform positive pressure ventilation.
3. Administer positive pressure ventilation.
4. Assess the effectiveness of positive pressure ventilation.
5. Perform the corrective ventilation steps if positive pressure ventilation is ineffective.
6. Administer continuous positive airway pressure.
7. Identify when to place an orogastric tube.
