Introduction

A bilateral bifascicular block is a complete right bundle-branch block (CRBBB) together with either a left anterior fascicular block (LAFB) or a left posterior fascicular block (LPFB). Another term for this is a bilateral bundle-branch block. Bilateral bifascicular block is uncommon.

This condition is brought about by coronary artery disease, Lenègre disease, hypertensive heart diseases, and heart valve operations. When left untreated, bilateral bifascicular blocks may progress into a complete infra-Hisian atrioventricular block.
