PACs are characterized by:
- Regularity: PAC interrupts the underlying rhythm
- Rate: Depends on the rate of the underlying rhythm
- P Wave: P wave preceding the PAC will be upright but may have variable morphology
- PR Interval: Between 0.12 and 0.20 seconds for underlying rhythm and PRI for PAC will be different
- QRS Complex: < 0.12 seconds
