D. Rationale: The work of the team leader does not end after the resuscitation event. They must give constructive criticism to each team members to aid their performance on the next resuscitation. They must analyze each situation and provide feedback to each member. Even a quick debriefing is invaluable right after a successful or failed resuscitation. A more comprehensive evaluation can occur later.

A. Rationale: The closed-loop communication style avoids misunderstandings during the delivery of information. The sender delivers a message which the receiver must repeat. Then the sender confirms to the receiver that the message was heard and implemented.

B. Rationale: The role of the recorder is to list the time that interventions were performed and medications administered to the patient. The recorder also announces when the medications are due next to be given. The recorder also lists the frequency and duration of interruptions in chest compressions and communicates all these data to the team leader and the other team members when appropriate.

C. Rationale: It is the role of the Recorder to write down the sequence of interventions given to a cardiac arrest patient. She notifies the Team Leader when the next dose or other interventions are necessary as well.

D. Rationale: Team members must not perform unfamiliar interventions or treatments without seeking advice from experts. This team member must inform the team leader that they are not capable of performing this procedure so that the team leader can determine the best course of action.
