My mission is simple — improve patient outcomes through better education. I feel lucky to have this online platform to teach ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NRP online and reach such a wide audience.”
– MARK DZWONKIEWICZ, FP-C, LI
After serving three years as an Army combat medic, Mark received his civilian Paramedic License through McHenry County College as well as an associate’s degree.
Mark served ten years with the Crystal Lake Fire Department. Not one to shy away from a challenge, he began searching for a more aggressive EMS system. Mark served as part-time firefighter-paramedic for the Oak Brook Fire Department before transitioning to a full-time position with the Good Samaritan Hospital Specialty Transport Team. The STT was a hospital-based critical care paramedic team that served as critical patient transport and in-house members of the trauma team and hospital CODE team.
Mark served a decade with the team, eight as the team’s coordinator. Following, he then accepted a position for a ground/helicopter team and shortly after pivoted to a position with a fixed-wing team.
Mark has a passion for teaching and has spent the last seven years as the Lead Instructor for a Paramedic Program located near Chicago. He owns CPR Works Professional Instruction and takes pride in being an active ACLS and PALS instructor for over twenty years.
