Experience
As a board-licensed pharmacist, Brenda Shih, PharmD, believes that health education and prevention are essential components of quality patient care. After graduating in 2019 with her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, Brenda started a career path where she could use her role as a pharmacist to build strong connections with patients and help them attain their healthcare goals.
Brenda’s pharmacology experience includes participation in training programs through Michigan Medicine, Walgreens, and Trinity Health. During her time working as a clinical pharmacist, Brenda conducted medication therapy management visits with patients from diverse backgrounds. With multiple years of learning under her belt, Brenda also dedicated some of her time to teaching pharmacy students and developing curriculum materials.
While she currently works as a pharmacist at OnePoint Patient Care, Brenda enjoys utilizing her pharmaceutical expertise by volunteering at a local free clinic.
