- The His-Purkinje System is a bundle of conductive fibers called Purkinje Fibers(a), through which electrical impulses travel after leaving the AV Node.
- The HIS-Purkinje system is subdivided into 4 parts: HIS Bundle(b), Right Bundle Branch(c), Left Bundle Branch(d), Terminal Purkinje Fibers(e).

- The Bundle of HIS(a), also known as the AV Bundle, is a collection of Purkinje Fibers located in the upper portion of the interventricular septum just below the AV Node(b).
- One of the primary functions of the Bundle of HIS is to conduct electrical impulses from the atria to the ventricles through the fibrous barrier(c) separating the atrium from the ventricles.
