Action Potential and Depolarization
- This tutorial will discuss, at a cellular level, the process that produces the ECG wave, called action potential or more specifically, depolarization.
- Action Potential is a complex cellular process involving the movement of sodium and potassium ions across the cell membrane via ion gates, and ion pumps, which pump sodium and potassium back across the cell membrane.
